Designing brand identity-web

I think its interesting how the website has to co-exist with the rest of the work that is put out in print. Like if a printed piece looks one way the website should look the same as to not throw the viewer off. The website has to be engaging yet user-friendly as well as educational. So you have to make sure that your teaching them something about the brand. Also, they have to be engaged enough to move around the sight easily through a method of buttons or narrative methods. I like the fact that now you can set up a website for users only getting a web password. This not only makes the person feel important but also gets a statistical count on how many people are hitting the site as well.
